Located minutes away from the neighboring Village of Westhampton Beach, Westhampton is an unincorporated community in the Town of Southampton. 

With close proximity to Moriches Bay and ocean beaches, Westhampton is an attractive area to boating and water enthusiasts. Students residing in Westhampton attend the Westhampton Beach Elementary, Middle and High schools. The town has its own Post Office and is serviced by the Westhampton Beach Fire Department.
